Congratulations to Sarah, 2012 employee of the year winner!
After announcing Sarah as the winner, Lori Burge, President & CEO of CCI Software, had this to say about her employee,
“As a software developer, Sarah has exhibited every CCI value. She always has a positive attitude, keeps an open mind and is very respectful when working with others. I appreciate her courage to be honest and ask the tough questions. She has never backed down from a challenge and is always seeking to take on new ones. Her ability to communicate technical information to customers is refreshing. When Sarah takes on commitments she can be trusted to follow through with minimal direction and produce quality results.”
Yesterday CCI packed up its final boxes to be sent overseas just in time for them to arrive Christmas Day.
Three weeks ago, CCI Software announced to its employees that they would be taking donations of food and other commodity items like coffee, chapstick, and crackers, to be delivered to a special platoon that is currently deployed overseas. This particular platoon employs the son of a fellow CCI employee. There are a total of 12 men in his platoon, all who were the recipients of the donated items. All 12 of the men have wives, two of which are expecting, and most have young children, but all of them have anxious family members waiting for their return home.
CCI donated enough items to send 10 full boxes over the course of the last 3 weeks. It has been an enjoyable experience being able to give back to the men who have given so much to us.
On November 13th, Dennis Yarrington (Davis County Assessor) and Cindy South (VP of Industry Services) finalized a 6 month Consulting Contract to be delivered to Davis County from CCI’s Cindy South.
Currently, CCI Software provides the Davis County Assessor’s Office with its V5 CAMA solution, RealWare. Per the request of the client, Davis County will be provided with completed Residential Market Models using their sales data. Cindy will apply the models to residential county inventory. The final product will include an update of time adjustment to existing sales in RealWare, construction and review/testing of Residential models created in RealWare, and application of the models to the county’s residential inventory producing values for next tax year.
Both parties are anxious to ‘get the ball rolling’ and start on their journey of discovery. Cindy is scheduled to make her first contracted on-site consulting visit during the second week of December.

Last week, Grand County and San Juan County went live following two days of on-site training. Group training was held in Price, UT and three days of individual county training followed. The group training also included two other counties (that will be going live next month), Utah State Tax Commission reps, and the MCAT Project Specialist…a full room indeed. Thanks to all of our trainers for their hard work!
We now have 17 of the 29 Utah counties up and running with two to follow shortly and five more go lives slated for next year!
All 29 Utah counties belong to an organization called MCAT, Multi-County Appraisal Trust, which works to unite the counties in standardizing the CAMA, reporting, and collection systems throughout the state. In September of 2010, CCI signed a contract with MCAT to implement the remaining 23 counties that were not previously contracted with CCI.
As the month comes to an end, CCI is celebrating the closing day of our Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser! Our employees have spent the last month seperated into 5 teams, competing against eachother to raise money for Hope Lives, a local post diagnosis breast cancer support center in Fort Collins. We’re proud to come together as a company and have the ability to donate to such an important cause. Feels great to donate!
Ontario, Canada places 13th amongst the top 21 communities in the world to demonstrate 21st-century best practices. CCI provides Ontario with our top of the line CAMA system, RealWare, as well as our GIS application, Matix. Riverside, California, another Matix user, was a nominee for the list.
RealWare and Matix arm its users with software that shows meaningful representations of data, uncovering holes and errors while increasing efficiency amongst office personnel, making all of our clients ‘intelligent communities’.
